After perhaps some consideration I may well be amending this page for the Topics of Discussion similar to how I dealt with the Web Log page. My thinking is more like maybe setting up a very loose and or free flowing type of BLOG but I will think about it though there are more pressing matters to attend to.

Below is a statement made on David Braden's Whole System Design forum which may add a little more clarity as to Planetary Developments operational mechanics.
I will try in brief to answer both of you hay the quarry of two Davids,
As I explain on the website for Planetary Development or PD the field shall be comprised of an amalgam of human disciplines such as medicine, agriculture, engineering, different aspects of the physical sciences, economics, business and so on an so forth. There shall be not one single field of discipline involved but many to make the whole of the field. You can compare the field of Planetary Development liken to a great orchestra with many elements coming together to form a single great movement or score. This is where the layered effect of multitasking comes in with those playing their major roles within the more traditional fields of work but running concurrent with that traditional work shall be the development of a vast new infrastructure through the creation of an array of projects, missions, goals, strategies and or dreams common to all upon our world where people shall also be engaged in their minor field of work or PD and look at or deal with just how their major field of study or work can best be applied to those overall missions and so on.
Now this is not to say that Planetary Development as a field shall be leaderless not at all the idea is to create a world or governing council on Planetary Development where they who work full time in the field coming out of those many fields of endeavor mentioned shall investigate the missions, projects and so on developing the very framework that those in the field shall be looking to apply across the whole system. Now this world or governing council by right and passage shall have to receive its charge and sanction by the peoples of the world for its operational authority and by doing so rendering to it both with credibility and accountability to all of our worlds citizens. Part of this rendering process that I see and also deem necessary like the field itself is the vote in the UN General Assembly for the creation of what I call the great seal of Planetary Development and used as the official backdrop in all forms of communication and media. Planetary Development shall be tied into and across all of our worlds nation states and I wish to be clear here with on a full and equal basis in partnership with all of the indigenous populations or tribes across the world. It is high time that they the indigenous world had a full and equal voice on our planet equal to the nation states with a social tool or mechanism to apply that voice in the form of action across our civilization.
The root experience that some of these indigenous people have dates back in some cases for thousands of years and thus can be defined as a successful living system across time so we might want to consider these people liken to elder statesman on our world and pay attention to what they have to say. These long term innate codified living systems cannot be ignored any longer either by the comparatively much younger nation states of the world or our species in general. This is where social anthropology shall come into play within PD as they sift through the historical and living data bases translating the information out for usage and application across our world?s societies a monumental task by itself the development of a kind of systematized and standardized approach and development for both specific cases and for general use as well.
Well I hope this helps shed a little more light on the subject in terms of operational mechanics.

In the future the topics of discussion for Planetary Development shall encompass the entire spectrum of human affairs, such as Medical, Engineering, Science, Agriculture, Transportation, Finance, World Government, issues on both War and Peace, Resource allocation and distribution and on and on. You might ask yourself at this point, well by what form will this discussion take place? Answer-through the first ever Periodical released to the magazine racks on the Field of Planetary Development coming sometime just beyond 2008 perhaps a couple of years or maybe a year there after. At first it will be small in scale lets say a minor network of outlets on a subregional or regional level where the publication will begin to lay out the case for Planetary Development as a field of human endeavor itself and then next it will attempt to negotiate or clear a path of operational methodologies to be understood at least hopefully so by the public at large. At this very same time being backed up by this website as the preoperations of the inception phase of the field of Planetary Development - Our Own begins to get underway.
As this new Periodical hits the stands probably through a desk top publishing outfit it will soon be clear that nothing like it has ever existed before in both scope and scale and that all proceeds will be allocated toward the further continuance and creation of the Field of Planetary Development itself.

I have had several discussions with book stores like Borders and I have come to realize that the individual stores have little or no control as to the reading material that goes on the shelves of their stores at any local level. Those decisions are made in the case of Borders for example at their corporate office in Ann Arbor Michigan and any solicitation or vying for shelf space for a periodical like I have in mind. I may have a hard time convincing corporate offices like that of Borders to go it on the small scale given that as one of the managers said in the store at Winter Park Florida that all the so called small or independent publications and stands were shut down and replaced a few years ago with their Seattle Brand Coffee Stands and to his knowledge this has happened to all the stores across the Borders chain. This will make it hard to start small and work up from a few periodicals to many over time. If I was successful in receiving permission from their HQ offices than I would have to have quite a substantial infrastructure on line to place those periodicals across all of their stores like Borders and this would be only one chain store I would have to be able to meet the need with others such as B Dalton and others. Not to mention that to all accounts it the periodical had never before been market tested as to its viability as a saleable product as it were. It would end up sitting in the same section as Scientific American, National Geographic and other power house periodicals which have been around since the 1800's. The periodical I have in mind as the first issue for Planetary Development will only be some 15 to 25 pages to start and probably be a quarterly publication at least at first.
So what is the alternative and where do I go from here. As it happens I am on many astronomical and science group site forums where I have been putting this situation out there and there have been many positive feed backs about starting a publication on line because the people I have talked to know other people who are now out there doing it. In fact I quarried around to other web sites that I am now on such as http://www.wiserearth.org and one of the editors particularly said that with what I am looking to do a website publication is defiantly the way to go and that he knows people out there doing it and very successfully so. He did say if the publication was indeed strong enough he could see it in the future capable of large scale publication. One of the things of concerns looking at it from this vantage point is that I will have to connect with enough pointers as to grab the interest of people from afar.
The issue always goes back to money some how and if have been reading some of the other sections of the website here you will know that I am not a big fan of the money thing. It is not that I have something against money itself or say capitalism itself no. The issue I have is how people use it or misuse it in terms of misusing or not allocating resources to maximize solutions to our worlds needs.
I have begun that Publication in outline and theory form it will take a little while to be sure I just want it when it does come out be a very solid message about us on our world uniform through and through in that scope and scale I mentioned above. and again all proceeds will go to the continuing project know as Planetary Development -Our Own.
What I need to do the most is to stop writing here and out on the blogs every where and start concentrating on the periodical until I just get it done, this is a note to myself.
