Before you read the below just understand that I speak of the Futurists in the general population with all the visions and aspirations which are nice but it is enough to say that we must get together as a whole to bring the amalgam of ideas forth into fruitfulness. There are those who do indeed have a better understanding of what I refer to as process development having devoted much of their lives to the issues such as Jacque Fresco go check out his many new YouTube entries out there and you will see that so give them a listen. What I say below is a wake up call and in the interest of bringing things together in a common way. With most of what I have seen over time so many Futurists have grand visions but how to get us there to the point of where those visions take the form of reality generally does not have a very clear line of sight.

Recently I was on the phone with a Dell Technician who was operating from within India. While I was on the phone with him he began to relay the many problems he saw both inside India and in other countries around the world including things going on within the United States. His information was up to date and accurate to all accounts. So what does this mean and how does it relate to one and all Futurists. This is easy, by now unless you are living under a rock on the Moon everyone knows what the problems are on our world both economically but most importantly because the social agenda drives the economic agenda the social problems as well. So to all Futurists out there it is high time to stop pointing your fingers at the problems. If you think by souring the milk that you are going to bring about change you are wrong. Everyone is sitting around with full awareness of the problems and still nothing of any major import is being done to change the face of our world to the better interms of adding cooperative integral cohesive thought and action across our civilization. So we need to add some honey to the pot.
So what's the stumbling block and why are we not able to break away into the future why are we stuck in the past? That too is easy, over time from images of space colonies to futuristic cities both on the land and sea I have noticed one main point of absence and that point is this. From point A the starting point where there is nothing to point B the finished product well not really a finished product just artist renderings of what might be possible in the future there is nothing a complete void, no detailed planning of the intermediate goods structure the goods that create other goods which would support such idealistic visions and nothing that would lead to an attraction of people toward those visionary projects in terms of benefits in the here and now from the physical economic plant which would support that population along the pathway of developing those said future visions and projects.
So my dear fellow Futurist and Visionaries the job ahead is very clear unless you can employ or present an effective intermediate goods or physical economic pathway capable of supporting the population along way though the development process of what you envision than your whole argument is dead before it begins. Just like now which is the primary reason we have not and do not see across the land completed works already from future designs that have been out there for decades at this point. Some of it great stuff but to the most part just nice pictures on the wall or something to put on yearly calendars like that one artist painting from the mid 1980?s of a child sitting there on the Moon in her space suit holding a kids shovel filling a pale with Moon dust where in the back ground there is portrayed a fully built and active Lunar Base it is now 2009 and when I look up at the Moon I still see no Lunar Base in sight. What gives with that, why are we floundering along without the necessary creative juices of a healthy dream state. In the overall we forgot to be practical in our approach to the making of and getting to those dreams. We have not applied those visions and ourselves in a way as to meet the challenge of those meat and potato issues that support populations. If we just by going after a greater dream state, future vision or what have you cannot by way of imagination nullify what is seen below in the street sign where over one million children are homeless in the United States alone than what is the point of these great futuristic visions.
I do not separate myself from all the above in fact it is my hope as I proceed ahead with this field of Planetary Development that it shall meet the challenge of the above passages. How? In the way that it is going to be framed, I have entered into an understanding with Argosy University where I am now in the Masters of Science and Management program or the MSM. From there it is my hope to enter the Educational Doctorial program in Organizational Management or the EDD where under responsible guidance through the dissertation process I shall frame the Field effectively for the first time. They at Argosy University are fully aware of what I am there to do. And why am I doing this in this way simply put credibility and accountability. I want to not just guess but to know that the operational framework of the field meets the standard of a full pier review process by those at the top of the field of management and that the field at its base shall be able to meet the challenge of those meat and potato issues while it goes about the business of bringing things together on our world. I can only hope that I am able to get it to that point.
It is time on our world for all the Futurists and Visionaries to band together and present a full array of methods, plans, strategies and tactics of just how our world could in fact be changed thus stepping into that void or undefined realm of the future that now exist across our civilization.
So, the game ahead for all Futurists and Visionaries is nothing less than rendering processes that lead toward the resolution of the human condition. Anything else would be a cop out and irresponsible to the future itself.
Remember, everybody knows what the problems and issues are what we in the overall don't know is the full array of solutions, solutions and more solutions that can be applied to those problems or issues. This is the area of focus.

Oh, remember given everything that is going on with the environment, physical economic and resource prioritization allocation as well as the direction of social evolution and population growth we may have only a short window say only a couple of decades to put things on a corrective path. Think about that before you get your egos up in a roar. It's either work together or put the long term health of our species at risk.
